Explore…dream…discover.
These words should form the mantra of my life, of all our lives. For what is
life without discovery? What is a life without breaking away from the comfort
of a safety net? We all know that in those moments in which we push ourselves,
whether it be mentally, physically or emotionally, we stand to reap the most
reward.
Don’t wait
for the right time, for a safety net to catch your fall. Who cares if you muck
up a few times, if you try and fail again and again. Failure simply serves to
heighten the reward of success when it comes.
Try, fail,
learn, discover, succeed and create memories in the process. Start living the
life you know you’ll be able to one day look back on with satisfaction, a
knowledge deep within that you gave it your best shot.
What is a Mantra for Monday?
Silent Sunday no.39: A crag of smooth rocks up on the
plateau of a hillside where we’d stopped for a picnic to shelter from the wind.
